Sausage & Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb Polish sausage, casing removed
- 1 lg onion, chopped
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 4 med potatoes peeled and cut in 3/4 “
- cubes
- 28 oz chicken broth
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 16 oz shredded cabbage (8 c.)

Preparation
Step 1
Break sausage into chunks in a large pot. Cook over medium high heat 5 minutes. Add onion and carrots, cover and cook over medium high heat 3 minutes. Add potatoes, broth, water and garlic. Bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir in cabbage, cook 5 minutes or until veggies are tender.
