  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 12 ounces Pepper Jack cheese
  • 3-4 potatos

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium saucepan melt butter.

Using a whisk add flour and cook for 2 minutes.

Slowly whisk in milk until mixture starts to slightly thicken, then add in 6 ounces cheese.

To layer the potatos: I add a little sauce at the bottom, a layer of potatos, then sauce again until you reach the top then for the final layer add additional 2 ounces cheese.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how deep of a dish you layered.
