Bakery stlye large cookies loaded with chocolate chips. Adapted slightly from Tyler's Ultimate. Oh so good!
Yield: 12-16 servings
Preheat oven to 350. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. set aside.
Place the butter, sugar, and brown sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer; cream together on medium speed until light and fluffy. Scrape down sides of bowl. Beat in the vanilla and eggs. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and continue to mix until a smooth batter forms. Turn off the mixer and fold in your chips.
Scoop ¼ cup sized cookie dough balls onto cookie sheet. place them about 3 inches apaprt from each other. Only 6 cookies per sheet. Press down on the tops slightly and bake until cookies are light brown, 12 minutes for chewy and 15 minutes for crispy.
Allow them to cool on a baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferrng to wire rack to cool completely.
