Preparation

Step 1

Paint their feet green with a foam brush to help control the amount of paint on the feet. Paint their toes red like Christmas balls.

Press the foot down on the canvas to make sure you get a good print. I found it was best to do one foot at a time. If doing multiple canvas I did one foot painted and then washed it off after I did all the canvas's and then painted the next foot, less mess.

With a brown marker make a tree trunk. A star was traced for the top and painted with metallic gold. I also put their name & year in the corner.
