Cooking is a passion with me, and I enjoy trying new receipes and techniques. I consider myself an advanced cook (but nowhere near expert). I have no formal training other than experience and what I can find and read about.

I live in NC and am passionate about southern-style cooking. I am currently into bread baking, real slow-cooked smoked BBQ, TexMex and homemade pizza better than you can buy anywhere in the area I live.

I’ve posted most of my recipes here from my MasterCook software so I can transfer them to my Demy, which I find very convienent and easier to work with than a laptop in the kitchen. I find almost all of my recipes on the internet and food blogs (including pictures), and I always try to publish the name of the food blog with the recipe to give credit where credit is due. I have so many recipes, that I probably will never be able to make them all personally, but I pick and choose ones that I think I would like to make.
